Sunday, May 22nd - 10am-12pm  Wildlife Conservation at Occoquan National Wildlife Refuge

nwrslogobg.jpg

Come and enjoy a nature hike that will allow us to explore wildlife habitat and conservation at a local National Wildlife Refuge.  We will identify birds (Osprey, Bald Eagle, and more!), wildflowers, tree types, and other wildlife in Woodbridge VA.  We’ll look and talk about animal habitat, food chain, conservation, and endangered species.

Also, 2nd grade Brownie Troop 5236 from Centreville will also be joining us.  We’ll have materials in hand that will let us work toward Cub Scout achievements too.

Please plan to attend!  It should be a great Scouting and Wildlife Experience.

As the date approaches, we will provide suggested clothing and items to bring (sunblock,, bug spray, water…).
